Location
Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel was very central to most areas, offering a great stay within easy walking distance to many attractions. The rooms were very clean and tidy, yet basic and in need of upgrading. The service, especially at the front desk, was friendly and extremely helpful. The location was excellent but slightly noisy due to proximity to the Fire Station. The dining experience was average and a bit on the pricy side. Overall, a convenient choice for a stay with a few drawbacks to consider.
The hotel has a mix of new and old elements in the rooms, some looking nice while others appear tired. It felt stuffy inside, and there were issues with condensation after a shower. The service was disappointing, with lack of apology for mistakes and staff not being very inviting or helpful. On the upside, the location is fantastic, close to popular attractions and with friendly staff. The dining experience lacked variety and seemed overpriced for what was offered.
I couldn't have asked for a better location! The hotel was super close to Te Papa, city life, the supermarket, and bus stops at Courtney place. The rooms were quite hot but having a fridge was really handy. On the downside, the rooms were a bit damp, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the convenience of the location.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, despite being a bit tired, provide a great view and nice layout, with the added comfort of a bath. The service, although staffed by friendly individuals, seems a bit inexperienced. The location is excellent for exploring Wellington, but the dining experience lacks variety and communication. Overall, it's a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel's location was superb, offering great dining options within walking distance and amazing views of the city attractions. The rooms needed renovation and had a musty smell, but higher floors were available. The service was overall friendly and obliging, although there were some payment confusion issues. Despite the room conditions, the prime location and helpful service made the stay enjoyable.
The hotel had a nice modern look in the rooms, but they were quite small which made me question the value for money. There was a spotlight shining all night, which was a bit bothersome. However, the service was nice overall, and the location was amazing, very central and close to many attractions. The dining was okay, but some noise at night affected my experience.
The hotel rooms need a little renovation as they are a bit outdated with black moldy curtains and stained bath and tiles, but it's conveniently located in the city center. The service was friendly and accommodating, especially in finding rooms close to other family members. The dining options were adequate, although a bit expensive. The location is outstanding value, being close to the waterfront and Te Papa museum.
My stay at the hotel was amazing! The room, although needing better ventilation, was clean, comfortable, and came at a great price. The service was top-notch overall, but there was some noise in the corridor in the mornings. The location was excellent, close to everything we wanted to see. The dining experience was good, but a bit pricey, and some items had to be requested. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups.
